In a press release sent on January 19, 2022, the new elected Mayor Eric ADAMS announced that the Celebrity rapper Carla B. offered to pay the burial of the 17 victims of the Bronx where she grew up.
The state of New York announced this week that it would be granting $2 million to a fund for the victims. According to her "rep", the artist partnered up with The Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City to "...make sure that the families of all the victims would be included in her donation and "that the final wishes for their loved ones were met." Cardi B said in a statement to CNN that "I'm extremely proud to be from the Bronx and I have lot of family and friends who live and work there still." (Source CNN.)
Who is Cardi B.?
Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar (born October 11, 1992), known professionally as Cardi B, is an American rapper, songwriter, and the creative director of Playboy. She is known for her aggressive flow and candid lyrics. Her first studio album, Invasion of Privacy (2018) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, was certified triple platinum by the RIAA, and was the best-selling female rap album of the 2010s according to Billboard. She is the female rapper with the most Diamond-certified songs (3) by the RIAA, the highest-certified female rapper of all time on their Top Artists (Digital Singles) ranking, while also appearing among the ten highest-certified women on the list.

Dans un communiqué de presse envoyé le 19 janvier 2022, le nouveau Maire élu Eric ADAMS annonce que la célèbre rappeuse Carla B. propose de payer l'enterrement des 17 victimes du Bronx où elle a grandi.
L'Etat de New York a annoncé cette semaine qu'il accorderait 2 millions de dollars à un fonds pour les victimes. Selon son PR, l'artiste s'est associée au Fonds du maire pour la ville de New York afin de s'assurer que les familles de toutes les victimes seraient incluses dans son don et que les derniers souhaits des victimes et ceux de leurs proches soient exaucés.
